In [[Slugs and Bugs: Invasion]], Anne is a shy, excitable woman. She is good friends with [[Jen]] and [[Justine]]. When [[the Invasion]] begins, Anne is on the middle floors. She is captured by a [[spider]] on the way up the stairs.

Anne is a small, red headed girl of 29 years. She has a lithe frame.

Anne Griffin grew up in a happy home. Her mother always doted on her, and she kept her generally cheerful demeanor her entire life. However, even when she was young, she felt differently towards girls than boys. As she grew, she kept her sexual orientation a secret until, in high school, she misunderstood a friendly night out as something more, and kissed a girl! Her friends alienated her and her mother refused to believe her daughter was a lesbian. Anne still managed to keep her smile, but Buffalo only appeared more homophobic the older she got, so she moved to the city, in the hopes of starting a new life, and she did just that. She got a job at the [[Erebus building]], and since she lived near [[Justine]] and [[Jen]], they often car pulled to work after breakfast. Anne has always had a crush on Justine, but has been to shy to say, and she does not think Justine is into women.

== Transformation ==

Anne had watched from the middle floor of the [[Erebus building]] as Justine ran from the [[spider soldiers]]. She didn't expect them to be able to jump and climb up to the middle floors. Running up the stairs, she was webbed. Eventually, she was overcome by the toxins.

After her transformation, Anne's eyes become liquid dark, and has several spider legs erupting from her back. Her skin turns a gray color.

Anne was trapped on the middle floors when the invasion commenced. She ran out of her office, and like the others on her floor, tried to reach the elevators. The elevator sat, damaged from the impact of the pod that slammed into the ground across the street. The force had shattered many windows, and groups of coworkers went to look outside at what had happened. Anne watched [[Justine]] run from a blonde woman, towards the [[Erebus building]]. Then her heart skipped a beat as large [[spider]] creatures scurried after Justine! Anne had trouble seeing down and to the right, but she assumed Justine survived because the creatures click and skittered around the door. Then, they looked up at Anne and the others staring down in disbelief. The creatures leapt up the building and quickly scrambled to the middle floors.

Anne had almost made it to the stairs when one of the creatures webbed her. At first, the spiders were content to capture humans. Only after a vast majority of employees were trapped in webbing did the creatures finally poison the humans with mutating toxins. Anne was at the end of the hall, and was one of the last females the spiders converted. In fact, she had been hypnotized by a [[bug]], and saw Justine. She tried to keep herself controlled enough to not betray her friend. The spider eventually bit Anne, and even under the mutating effects of the alien poisons, Anne barely managed to let Justine go. However, Justine later chopped her with an axe.
