In the [[Anaxverse]], the boogeyman is one type of the [[Undead]] [[race]]. It is one of the [[Shadow Lord]]s, capable of great power. Boogeymen specialize in fear, twisting it and turning it into something new. Currently there is only one known boogeyman, [[The Anax]].

== Powers ==
Boogeyman are physical and metaphysical monsters, able to find a victim's worst fear. They make them live out these fears, either on a repeating loop or to such an extreme degree that the victim begs for release. The boogeyman can then take their soul in payment, twisting it for their own nefarious schemes.

== Appearance ==
Boogeymen can shift their appearance, to appear as fearsome as possible to their victims. [[The Anax]] in particular takes a default look of a [[shadow person]], and has long, green claws.
