Ghost Nook Island is an island found in the center of [[Big Moose Lake]] in upstate New York. It had not previously been an island, but had become as such when the water rose over the previous century. The town of [[Wakefield]] is nearby, and along the forest is [[Ravenhurst Manor]]. The island is extremely hard to find passage to, due to superstition surrounding it. On the island is the [[Twisted Tree]], the hanging location of [[Anaximanes Ravenhurst]]. Superstition holds that [[The Anax]] comes back on [[Halloween]] to search for souls on the island. Ghost Nook is the primary location of the novel <i>[[The Anax: Call of the Cursed One]]</i>.
