In [[The Anax: Call of the Curse One]], Harper is part of the [[Female Phantom Finders]], a group which involves [[Evelyn Addams]]. They had heard of hauntings on a nearby island, so went to check it out. In the novel, Harper clashes with Eve about an incident from their past. She escapes the initial onslaught from [[The Anax]], but is eventually caught when trying to jump out of a guard tower with Eve.

Harper has very voluminous hair, and is a fit girl as 22 years old.

Harper Jones is a member of the all woman paranormal society called the [[Female Phantom Finders]]. Harper was known for always laughing and smiling. She was sort of the ‘clown’ of the FPF. No one would imagine she had ever been so jovial if one looked at her now. Her life changed forever after [[Amelia Williams]] sent the group to investigate an abandoned church. [[Dagan Erebus]], a powerful phantom, corrupted [[Eve Addams]], and Eve considered Harper her first target. She held Harper down and molested her, and worse, Evelyn announced to Harper that she delighted in what she did- not because of Dagan’s influence, but because it was what she wanted to do! Though [[Moonbeam]] intervened and saved Eve from Dagan's control, Harper remained emotionally scarred from the incident. She withdrew into herself, and stopped any sexual activity or even masturbating. She became scared of the very idea. Only Harper knows that Eve was in control at the time of her assault, yet, she has not told the other members. Harper did not want the group to break up or feared that everyone might side with Eve and cast her away, but after moving to New York City, these women were her only friends. She came, grudgingly, with the group to explore [[Ghost Nook]] Island.

After [[Eve]] leapt from the window of the Old Tower, [[The Anax]] grabbed Harper, and pulled her inside! She managed to break free, but could not find a way out of the guard tower, and she fell victim to him! He made her live through her [[genophobia]]. Inside her mind, The Anax discovered that she feared Eve and sex, and determined what had happened. He summoned a vision of Eve. Just the sight of her has Harper beg him to take her soul, making it stop. The Anax decided instead to turn the fear into a fetish. He had Evelyn disrobe Harper. Harper chants over and over how she hates this, but The Anax twists her words, forcing her to say the opposite. She fights the corruption longer, with her thoughts getting skewed more and more. Eventually, she begs for the joining with Eve. When Evelyn dematerializes, Harper happily gives up her soul for having been helped reach enlightenment.

When [[The Anax]] gave control back to Harper's body, she told him that she wanted to make [[Evelyn]] suffer, so The Anax told her that as long as she found Evelyn, she could enact whatever revenge she desire, with his blessing. She talked the Haunted Woods all evening, expecting Eve to return.

After Eve defeated [[Lexus]] at the Old Tower, Harper decided to feign death, and lay in the center of a clearing in the hopes that Evelyn would stumble upon her- which she did! However, Eve decided not to approach the undead minion, but later, Harper heard Eve’s voice echo across the entire island, telling everyone where she stood, and Harper set out to finally have her vengeance, only to find Evelyn warped into a creature of pure shadow! Evelyn cast Harper into the [[Shadowlands]] with the other women, sealing her away. To this day, she seethes inside, waiting and hoping for a way to make Evelyn suffer!
