In [[Slugs and Bugs: Invasion]], Marjana is an employee at the [[Cerebus Building]]. She is a friend of [[Justine]], whom sees Marjana's conversion right after she was bitten by the [[spiders]].

== Appearance ==

Marjana is a taller, 39 year old woman. She maintains herself well, and appears happy.

== Notes and Trivia ==

Marjana’s parents are Russian immigrants, and they both worked hard to give her a better life. They succeeded and she made a great living for herself. However, her family continually tried to get her to marry and have children, until finally; in her mid twenties she explained that she was a lesbian. Her family took great offense to this, and they have alienated her since. Yet, she only became more independent and stronger for it. She, like so many others, finds [[Justine]] to be quite a catch, and even took her out to a friendly dinner the night before the invasion. She is usually happy and tends to take the initiative.

== Transformation ==

Marjana got caught up on her floor when the [[Invaders attacked]]. She did a surprisingly good job at eluding them, but was eventually webbed. [[Justine]] managed to happen upon her just as one of the alien spiders poisoned Marjana. Justine tried to help her, but the moment she crossed from human to alien, Marjana tried to seduce and enthrall Justine.

After her transformation, Marjana's eyes become liquid dark. Her skin turns a gray color.

Under the growing influence of the [[Minder]], Justine could not be hypnotized, though she pretended to be. When Marjana let her guard down, Justine struck, and then hacked her body to bits. Justine then, coldly, murdered the infected woman inside Marjana’s web.
