One by one, they fell into a deep sleep, and one by one, she dragged them to her father’s truck. Once they were bound and gagged, she drove them to Pope Lick Creek where her ritual altar sat in the dark night, thirsty for blood. The drugs kept her family mostly unconscious until she began her dark ritual. As the family awoke, confused, they screamed and cried into their gags. Mara’s arm whipped around and she punched her older sister with all her raging might. As Nora hit the ground, reeling in pain, Mara got the knife and cut her bindings and turned to do the same for Lana. Lana was in hysterics sobbing and crying, and Mara was careful not to cut her, when Nora suddenly leapt on her back.
